Yes, I do actually have a dog named Yogi. That’s him pictured above. I am a foster home for Oregon Springer Rescue. In the late summer of 2004 he came to me as a foster dog and it didn’t take me long to decide to adopt him. One unique thing about him is that he’s blind. Glaucoma took his sight as a puppy, so he’s been blind most all his life. It doesn’t slow him down one bit. He’s a very active dog and loves to head outdoors regardless of sun, rain or snow.  The articles here are ones I’ve researched, written and had published in various magazines.
